The Guernsey Investment Fund Association (GIFA) has raised £5,000 for The Burrow from a collection at their annual dinner on Friday 4 March. As GIFA’s nominated charity for the evening, over 300 guests were invited to make a donation to our latest fundraising initiative and a fantastic amount was raised! We would like to thank GIFA’s committee members for choosing to support us, all the guests who donated and our Trustee Richard Le Tocq for speaking on our behalf.

Andrew Whittaker, Chairman of GIFA and Managing Director of Ipes says: ‘I am so pleased our fundraising has made such a difference to The Burrow campaign. All our members were really interested to hear about the Foundation’s work and being in a small island you don’t have to go far to hear of someone who has benefited from the charity.’

The total amount raised at GIFA’s annual dinner is the equivalent of 1,000 virtual bricks that will contribute to the purchase of The Burrow. Visit: to find out how you can get involved in our Buy-a-Brick campaign from only £5.00 a brick!
