On 3rd November we were absolutely thrilled to win, ‘Fundraising Team of the Year’ at The Community Awards 2016 in Guernsey.
The annual event is all about celebrating and recognising the charitable work carried out by local charities, organisations, groups, businesses and individuals.
We would like to congratulate this year’s winners and nominees – you are all amazing. It was a great opportunity to meet lots of inspiring people and we’re feeling very humbled.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our buy-a-brick campaign. Without you and your generosity, we would never have been able to achieve this much in such a short space of time.
We’d also like to congratulate the shortlisted entries for Fundraising Team of the Year: ROW24 – Simon Johns and James Coquelin and The Sarah Groves Foundation. The ROW24 duo broke a world record and raised over £8,000 for both the PPBF and The Ivy Trust. The Sarah Groves Foundation is a locally registered charity to improve and enhance the lives of young people, inspired by Sarah Groves who was tragically murdered in 2013. Both have worked extremely hard to make a difference to the lives of so many people.
