A trio of newly-weds raised over £4,000 earlier this month for the PPBF. Maxine Le Normand, Liz Lainé and Claire Tannahill came up with the idea to give other women the opportunity to dig out their favourite frocks and enjoy a glamorous evening for a worthy cause. Around 150 ladies attended this fun-filled evening at St Pierre Park including Jo Priaulx.
The ladies behind this event have all experienced the invaluable support given by the PPBF and a number of local businesses including Catherine Best, Creasey’s, Rocks and The Day Salon donated some fantastic prizes to the event’s raffle concluding a hugely successful evening.
‘It exceeded all of our expectations,’ said Liz Lainé. ‘We are so proud and would like to thank all of the ladies who gave so generously and who made the night so memorable. We would also like thank all of our friends and suppliers who helped to make the evening happen especially Bori at St Pierre Park, Annette at Save The Date, Sammy at Q-Sky and Shirley Burtenshaw along with Hazel Piriou for the flowers.’
‘It was brilliant,’ said local teacher and guest Abi Kimber. ‘I really enjoyed getting dressed up to support a worthwhile charity and we all had so much fun!’
Jo Priaulx also had a great time and was delighted by the amount of people who wanted to help out the charity. ‘We look forward to more succesful events like this in the future!’ she added.
