#Row24 raises over £8,800!

Simon Johns and James Coquelin’s Row24 challenge has raised an absolutely fantastic total of £8,824.21 for The Burrow and The Ivy Trust! The dynamic duo recently broke the world indoor rowing record for the men’s 30-39 years lightweight category on the concept-2 rowing machine by taking turns to row 20-minute sessions for 24 hours. The money has been split between us and The Ivy Trust, a local charity who support parents after the loss of a baby.

As well as thanking Simon and James for their incredible dedication and hard work, we would also like to thank the following businesses and individuals for their support…

The atmosphere was just amazing and here’s a clip from the moment the record was broken…

Donations can still be made to support us and The Ivy Trust by clicking here!

Fantastic amount!! The work you do to support local families at such a traumatic time is priceless. Although we were lucky enough not to have to travel to Southampton when Florie arrived 6 weeks early in November 2015 the beautiful memory box we received during her stay in SCBU will be treasured forever, together with the generous contents.
